In 1976 Case Theatre was born. Under the tutelage of Thomas Marcello the award winning Case High School theater program produced over 100 plays and musicals over 40 years until his passing in 2016.
In addition, Mr. Marcello directed 24 state finalist productions and was State Champion 4 times in the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild.
While his accomplishments on stage were amazing, Mr. Marcello, "M" to his students, will be remembered as a friend, mentor and educator who impacted generations of children with an unwavering devotion for his students and his love of theater.
His legacy lives on in his former student and current program director, Neil Jeronimo, and the dedicated staff of volunteers, many former students, and in the countless "theater ghosts", a term of affection given to graduating seniors who carry on his message, passion and love for theater and Case High School
